As we close out the memorable year of 2009 and enter the training phase of 2010, I feel it is important to thank a lot of people on behalf of our football program.
First, I have to thank our seniors who have dedicated their minds, body, and soul to the Guyer football program. These 28 young men are the warriors left from about 90 of their incoming freshman class. Our seniors are a major reason the Guyer football program is where it is today – and that is one of the elite football programs in the State of Texas.
Second, I want to thank Denton ISD administration for providing strong leadership. Everything starts at the top. Also, thank you to the Guyer High School administration…Barbara Fischer you are truly amazing. And, Ken Purcell our program thanks you for your mentorship…your advice and leadership is found throughout our program.
Third, our booster club is truly phenomenal. Lead by Jason Helal, the Guyer Football Booster Club makes sure on a daily basis that our players and coaches have everything we need to be ELITE! Thank You!
Lastly, thank you to our fan base. We sacrifice and expend a tremendous amount of energy to reach our goals as a program, but it is important to our program to make you proud to be a ‘Wildcat Fan’.
Sincerely,
John Walsh
