Guyer Marching Band
UIL Results posted: 4/21/09
On April 9th, the Guyer High School Bands competed at the UIL Concert and Sight-reading Contest held at Northwest High School in Justin. The Concert Band received a rating of "Excellent" on stage and "Superior" in sight-reading while the Symphonic Band received a "Superior" rating from all judges on stage and in sight-reading!
San Antonio Trip Results posted: 4/21/09
On April 18th, the GHS Concert and Symphonic Bands competed in the Choice Music Events' "Alamo Showcase of Music" in San Antonio. The Concert Band received a "Superior" rating from all judges and was named, "Runner-Up in Class" for the 4A Non-Varsity division. The Symphonic Band also received a "Superior" rating from all judges and was named "Best in Class" for the 4A Varsity Division. The Symphonic Band was also chosen as the "Overall Outstanding" ensemble!
