Keller Indians vs Guyer Wildcats

District 5-6A play begins!

The Indians offensively are a traditional spread attack.  The leader of their offense is QB #10 Caleb Griffin, who is an efficient passer (60% completions) and a capable runner.  Caleb hands the ball off to their work horse #3 Tyler Tutt, who has a district leading 77 carries through 3 games.  Paving the way on the offensive line is LSU commit and giant #76 Maea Teuhema (6’4 340 lbs).  When the Indians look to attack you  in the air, their targets are #1 Cameron Jones, #2 Cam Johnson, and #5 Dillon Smith.

Defensively, the Indians are a 3-4 scheme and will play a 3-3 stack vs 4 wide formations. The Indians have the #1 defense in 5-6A with only giving up an average of 255 total yards per game.  The Indians also lead the state in interceptions with six from six different people through 3 games.  On the front, #88 Houston Miller is a force defending the run game and in pass rush.  At linebacker, inside linebacker #33 Phil Young and outside linebacker #24 Aaron Tabbs are around the ball every snap.  When talking about the secondary, six interceptions speak for themselves.
